Summer break full of conferences! Find out more!
In June, Maria and Monika attended the 11th International Conference on Pig Reproduction held in Ghent, Belgium. Monika delivered an excellent introduction on the “Role of Extracellular Vesicles in Early Pregnancy”, followed by Maria’s presentation titled “miR-125b-5p Affects Molecular and Morphological Parameters of Extracellular Vesicles Released by Porcine Trophoblast Cells In Vitro”. We also enjoyed reconnecting with Katerina!
In September:
– Maria participated in a multidisciplinary EMBO workshop “When Biology of Endocytosis Meets Physics: Emerging Mechanisms and Functions”, held in Venice, Italy. She had the opportunity to present her findings on “Multivesicular Bodies Trafficking and Distribution at the Embryo-Maternal Interface During Early Pregnancy”. Later, at the Polish RNA Meeting in Warsaw, Poland, she presented another aspect of her research in a poster presentation – “miR-125b-5p: An Embryonic Nontranscriptional Mediator of EV Biogenesis and Secretion”.
– Dominika attended the 11th IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience, organized by the IBRO (International Brain Research Organization) and the Spanish Neuroscience Society, held in Granada, Spain. During the conference, she presented a poster titled “Sex-Specific Response of Arcuate Nucleus Neural Circuits Involved in the Metabolic Control of Reproduction to Malnutrition Experienced in Early Life”.
– Monika joined 3rd Meeting of Visegrád Group Society for Developmental Biology in Warsaw (Poland) to give plenary lecture about our research titeled “From trash bin to gold mine: implications of extracellular vesicles in early pregnancy”.
